OK about to PULL the trigger and get New motor for my FD.

Still undecided about where/who I want to do the work.

Anyone out there have any feedback or experience from

Rotary Performance out of Manassas VA??

Bret (of RP) rebuilt my 13B NA and streetported it for a good price. He was on time and easy to deal with. I think I got a good deal from him.

Not sure about FD's, but he rules with 1st and 2nd gens.

Try Performancebuyers in chantilly. (www.performancebuyer.com) They have a rotary mechanic (Stuart) that is great with FD work.

Tell them a Mazda Sport Car Club of Washington member sent you.

Thanks for the PerformanceBuyers.com web site.

Checked out the website and it looks really good.

Seems to be a quality shop.

Tried calling them, but with my LUCK, they are closed

because they are attending some Mazda association

picnic.. GO figure.. on Monday i'll see if they can

TUNE and if so... I probably go with them.

UNLESS Demetrious ever return my calls..

Hey FD Three S

Both shops are excellent. For performance builds I would go with Bret at Rotary Performance. He has been at this business and races both RX-7s and Miatas. He really knows rotors. I used to take my 1st Gen there a lot. When I purchased my FD he wasn't working on them. I just stopped by there today to say hi and he confirms he is now working on them. He is even looking to begin dyno and tuning.

For parts and other services, go to Performance Buyers Club. I went to high school with the owner, Pete Zazanis. Tell him Scott Bartlett sent you. John Duff is working the FD stuff over there in their new "rotary revolution" program.

Anyhow, you can't loose either way.

Sean, I would get the rebuild at rotary performance.
