Hey guys, I really want to come down this year, but I hate driving my FD far. uncomforatable as hell, I hate long drives, blah blah blah anyway.



I'm going to take a train down, it's only 2 hours. But I would need to rent a car, or hitch a ride. The closest station to Crofton is Baltimore. So I need to know a few things, like when the BBQ starts, ends, and any good hotels since I'll prob come down friday night.

heres an idea...borrow voskos trailer, if he still has it. hook it up to your suv. load FD onto trailer. cover it up real nice. drive to MD.

Ok I'm getting a bit confused trying to work this out on mapquest. There are 2 crofton MD ??? going by the zipcode Roy posted in his BBQ thread, I checked it out and it looks like DC is closer than baltimore?

Better yet here are the listed amtrak stations in MD. which is closest to the BBQ?

New Carollton is probably closest... but you can't stop there if you take the Metroliner or Acela... only choice then is BWI Rail station

Thats home of the infamous metro racing spot.Its only like 10 to 15 minutes from the show.
