ILP Grand Opening Nov. 16th

we are now in our 1500sqft brand new location with machining and fabracation ability, and new equipment is ready to show what a performance shop can do. That means now would be the perfect time for our grand opening. There will be food, and installs.

So for this event service and sales will be discounted.

So guys ask me for whatever you want to be here, and I will make it happen. We would like to setup a bunch of installs. We will have a Master Tech on hand to perform and help with the installs.

We are wholesalers of: Tein, Apex, Stromung, Greddy, Momo, HKS, Falken, Toyo, Kuhmo street tires, Sumitomo, Koni, Hoosier, Eibach, Rally tires (Falken and Dunlop), just to name a few. Our techs have experience on Mazdas, Toyotas, Subaru, Honda/Acura, along with Domestics.

So if you or your friends want other stuff done, just ask.

So start with questions or orders.

RXheaven13b 10-12-2002 10:28 PM

I am urging everyone to pre order the parts you guys want installed and to take advantage of the discounts they are throwing out for this event.

Remember they are just starting out, they might not have the part you want in stock so make sure it will be there (ORDER AHEAD OF TIME). Call them for pricing and availability.

Thanks Jeff. I am sure your shop should do well. I have a few questions...

Who is turning wrenches for you?

What services do you offer?

Are you guys capable of engine rebuilds and swaps?

Will you be able to install turbos and fabricate parts in shop?

Does your shop have a dyno tune?

What experience do your mechanics have?

Just a few. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/bounce.gif

treekiller 10-14-2002 08:29 PM

ErnieT 10-16-2002 07:24 PM

Hopefully there will now be one shop in Nazereth with half a clue.....

treekiller 10-16-2002 08:10 PM

I have heard nothing but good things about KDR they seem like nice people. they are across town. I used their dyno before. really nice people.

ErnieT 10-16-2002 09:12 PM

Just to clue you in, Dave is responsible for four of my blown motors, all due to faulty tuing. He doesn't have a ******* clue. He's never tuned anything over 16lbs of boost and even that high he lets off at 6800rpms due to lack of knowledge/confidence in what he's doing. He's a good mechanic, I'll give him that, TUNER, HE'S NOT!!

Fd3BOOST 10-16-2002 10:29 PM

Hmm I guess I didn't miss anything by never going there then. Not that I really needed tunning before. I can't afford the harness now as I just dropped some booku buck on my lady. I 'll just pay fullprice later. Thanks though.

RXheaven13b 11-02-2002 01:08 AM

Ok, it's in 2 weeks. who all is comming?

Ernie,

I am not trying to start a battle here... just in search of more info so that I can tune MY FD safely https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR

What specific items do you feel were not tuned to your satisfaction by Dave? Was it AFRs? Was the timing poorly chosen for your combo of boost/port/fuel?

On another note, do you have a recent dyno graph with mods list that you'd care to share with me? If you don't want to give that sort of info out since you race, that's cool, but I'd like to see it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Regards,

Brian

ErnieT 11-17-2002 11:13 PM

Brian,

One motor he popped on the dyno(Timing too far advanced for pump gas). The next popped because after he rebuilt it, he didnt adjust the map after he blew the motor!! The next motor was due to the wrong wastegate spring being installed. So it was three, not four. My mistake. Dave IS NOT a tuner. His excuse at the time was that he didn't have the datalogit. Fine, but don't charge me for you ignorance!! He ate one of the motors after I pitched a holy fit, but the very next time I pick it up the wrong wastegate spring is in. Makes a guy wonder how honest people are....ya know. Im just glad Demetrios had tought me how to do all this ****, so I don't have to pay anyone anymore. Only thing I can't do is the actual rebuild process and tuning, but as you can see from my timeslips, Im very happy with my tuner. Im acutally going to pull the motor in the next month and have Demetrios port it for me.

Fd3BOOST 11-18-2002 05:39 PM

Ahh you sissy! Port that motha yourself man!!

Seriously though I would have never did my own if I could have afforded to pay someone to do it.

It is to my benifit to do it all myself but It would have been nice to be able to drop it off and say ok fix it!

RXheaven13b 11-21-2002 02:32 AM

Whare was every one?? It was nice, pig over a fire pit with some one serving it, FREE BEER, parts all over the place, nice people to talk to. Thanx for comming guys!!
