I just got power agan. My propety is trashed. Huge trees down all over the place. House, my wife, kid, cars are all fine.

I had no power for about 24 hours, but no basement flooding cuz i bailed out the sump pump by hand all night. No damage to the house or car either. i went downtown yesterday to check things out and the whole inner harbor and fells point was UNDERWATER from 4in to 7ft! it was crazy.

I was really worried about a tree falling on one of my vehicles, but got lucky, a few trees went down in my neighborhood, but all I got was an assload of leaves on the cars, still need a damn garage, or better yet, my own shop. Glad to hear that so far nobody got hurt or had thier rides or houses damaged. that flooding is some crazy stuff too, I think old town Alexandria got hit pretty hard by flooding too. |

Not much damage near me... lots of leaves and small branches weighing only a few ounces or maybe a pound or two. A few big trees down but not that many really.
I lost power for around 24 hours but it wasn't so terrible because my phone still worked and I had my laptop with fully charged batteries so I amused myself when I had to by logging on with that. The night of the hurricane I went out drinking with my girl and we had to hop from bar to bar as they lost power or voluntarily shut down early to get people back home without dying. I am glad that everyone's OK! Brian |
