Yeah, MD will get on you for EVERYTHING if you owe them money. I'm still pissed at the fact that when I bought my FD for below 10k in fair shape, they charged me tax based on blue book price as if it were in perfect shape. How do you pay tax, on cost you didn't pay? It's amazing how it's always legal to somehow get money out of the consumer(victim)...
I had mine written up stating that I only paid 9k for it. The state wastes enough of my money, I will keep what I can when I can. |
...and the real messed up part is, if I had paid 17-20k or something for it, they would have gladly taxed me based on THAT price. I just can't wait for emissions... :squint:

they only pull the book out if they find the value questionable... |
yes...i got taxed only a little for my car because the "bill of sale" that i printed up 5 min before said the car had a blown motor and was sold as is
|
how many times do they tax the same car, bastards.
Tax is paid on the whole value of the car when its new, then everytime its sold therafter. Cocks. |

Thats why they call it the common weath of Virginia. Cause they get all your money. I gotta say that Northern Virginia is pretty nice though. As long as you can deal with foriegners. |
