I also did not realize the Femmes played, did you know that the Violent Femmes headlined the first HFStival? Well they did and I was there to see it. Femmes are great. I've seen them four times. Any pix Drew?

ask and ye shall receive... couple of shitty vids in there taken with my Canon PS S400... as you can tell... it's sound quality isn't quite 'optimal'.... give a good idea of the energy of the crowd though... the whole field was FULL when the Offspring played... quite a sight

I would be surprised if the offspring was given top billing over the Cure who are way more talented and recognized. Not to mention they have been playing since 1977.

The Cure closed it... but the floor was WAY more crowded for the Offspring... guess people were leaving early to avoid the rush...

we stayed until the very end and even though it was a pain in the *** getting home (on the metro) it was worth it, The Cure kicked ***

The Cure will be playing Merriweather Post Pavillion here in Columbia the 6th of August... I'll be going to that for sure
