it was kind of cool, when i lived in miami, i was on a canal system, and had a nice deck and boat slip right outside of my door. often, while trying to catch tarpona nd barracuda, i would see a manatee.
those things are cool. they like iceburg lettuce, romaine lettuce, and lots of other leafy veggies like cabbage. they were also very fond of the water hose. they used to come up to us on the dock and roll over in the water when we put the hose towards their skin. they are very slow, and harmless.....but, i think most of you all knew that one..... peace. |

i wonder what it is like to "stump-break" a manatee, or if that is even possible in the water... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif
