    In order to remove the center iron you must remove the front pulley and allow the shaft to lift up with the center iron about 2 inches and tip the iron to one side a bit. Turn the shaft so the lobe is on one side of the engine and tip the iron the other way and lift up.

    every build I've ever seen done is started by removing from the rear first and removing a housing or plate at a time. My build was actually done by a shop here in indiana so I can't really give a good step by step, but there are many great threads on this in the rotary build/porting section in this forum
