Hey all,
New to the forum as well as rotory. Just picked up my first rotary last night made a trade for my 78 Toyota corolla. Car is 1985 rx-7 gsl-se 13b 5spd Full racing beats exhaust H&r lowering springs Stainless oil cooler lines Drille slotted rotors. So far I love the car pulls nice and hard drives like a champ. Only 1 issue I have with it didn't want to brin it up in the newbie page but ill try here too for some info. When driving its all good like I said. But when you throw it into neutral or hold in the clutch rolling to a stop or just rolling, the rpms drop almost all the way to zero. And then within a couple seconds will pik it sel back up to about 700-800 rpms and be fine. It does not shutter or anything like its going to die. Just trying to get an idea. It has about 65k on the clock. And also runs a little rich. Smell some fuel in the exhaust but no oil. Also a plus does not get hot at all I heard they are notorious for overheating Well thanks for any info you may submit in advance And ill post up more pics when I get on my pc :) Brian |
