After crusing the net for some time for a decent rotary forum, and getting annoyed with the V8 or nothing posters on rx7club, I've finaly decided to post on one! The only vehicle I currently own is my beat up as **** 89 Toyota Pickup which has been in my family sense it was brand spanking new. Wonderful vehicle, only 167,000 miles (not bad for a 17 year old truck) and practicaly invincible, but it's not exactly a hot rod. I've always been fairly interisted in racing, and japanese cars in general. When I was young one of my mothers friends took me out for a spin in his 240Z and i'll tell you, that changed me. The world was alot different at 120mph alright, and it was alot better. Recently, now that im older and can afford it, ive become interested in all that again, and the FC3S is the car thats caught my fancy, plus the whole rotary concept in general.

So im here to learn as much as I can in the meantime while I shop for a car. I'm fairly dead set on an S4/S5 Turbo II, but they are rather hard to find here in Arizona. And seeing how i've always inherited a car and thusly never really bought one, im not so sure on the right way to go about looking, or how feasible getting something out of state would be. I'm interested in some pretty heavy modding down the road, so I suppose I better get all the rotary matanince basics down before I start building it up. In the end i'll keep it short, i've got a lot to learn from you guys, and I hope you all don't find me too annoying.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Welcome, and good luck with your search. At least a Southwest car should be pretty much rust-free. T2's aren't that numerous, but with a little luck you should find one.

Right on, a future rotor head the Turbo II is a great choice. It has 50/50 distribution and 4 wheel independent suspention. the S4 has 182 HP and the S5 has 200 HP whitch will make that 240Z seem a bit slow https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png . I feel that there are way more FC's (86-92) in the market then any other year so you should have N/P finding a cheap one.. (IMO) the 2 things that kill a rotary is 1: HEAT 2: DIRT.... So what ever you do just dont overheat her and make sure to cange the oil...(I plan to change mine every 2,000 miles)
