i drive a domestic now - a mustang, but i'm tired of all the small little basic problems that cost an arm and a leg to fix in parts alone.
i wanted an imprt of some kind, but nothing from nissan, and not the biggest fan of the supra. instead i'm looking at RX-7s, particularly FDs, and needed some help in what to look for when buying. |
If a Mustang is too much of a maintance hassle and too expensive parts wise dont even consider the FD. Search around man.
|
yeah you dont want an FD if you think a muskrat is spendy... what kind of power do you want (stock) and how much are you lookign to spend??? im sure we can help you out if you give us some numbers.

Tedness! Patrick here, with the gold FC. Welcome to nopistons!
Have you met Fritz, with the red FD in town? He could give you the info on FD ownership in person if you want to hang out and talk rx-7s some time. |
sounds like you two know each other.... eh?
|
i agree... get a Turbo II. Fd's are VERY expensive to maintain and break alot. I've owned my current one for almost 9 years now. I've spent enough money maintaining and modding it to buy a small country.

HALO jumping in a lightning storm Shannon.

Only problem with TII is finding decent OEM parts. FD is not too hard to find OEM parts. But doing a TII is alot cheaper.
