How's everybody doing? I just bought 4 1972 RX-2's. There's a junk junk out in the middle of the prairie which I have visited several times over the years. Because it's in the middle of a 120mi stretch of 2 lane, I think vehicles would just break down along the road in the 60's and 70's and just wind up there for repairs and be left behind. Well the old man who owned the place died last July, and they are talking about crushing all the cars, like 500 cars. A long time ago I noticed the old Mazda's sitting there, and thought I better approach them before they are lost forever, in light of Floyd's passing. The cars are ROUGH to say the least, misc broken glass, missing front seats, dash pieces gone, a few dented sheet metal panels, but 3 of them have engines, and the all have transmissions. They wanted 150 a car at first but I got them for $50ea. 3 are 2dr and 1 is 4dr. I hope to get them home soon so I can figure out which ones to build and which ones to cannibilize for the others. I'll post some pics once I get them home. I'll be asking lots of questions over the next few months (years probably https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif ). These are not my first rotary cars, I had a 86 RX-7 when I was at Wyoming Tech getting my diesel degree, so I am somewhat familiar with rotary power.

Sorry so long winded, later.

Mick
