Hey guys whats up.

I'm Alex from Tallahassee

Baldy told me to check this place out and I forgot to until now. Wish I found out about it sooner.

Well I just got an 88 TII a couple months ago. It was pretty beat and riced a little. Gutted and red vinyl interior(wtf) The previous owner was an idiot. I look back now and I shouldn't have bought it but I did for some reason.

Anyways it has a street port with a T04E on it right now.

3" Racing Beat exhaust

Stock top mount for now.

I'm in the middle of upgrading to a haltech e6x right now and upgrading the fuel injectors (720/1600) too.

Thats pretty much it. Right now I'm stuck since one of the primary fuel rail bolt holes is stripped out causing a fuel leak when I prime the fuel pump....ya. sucks....

Haven't driven it in 2 weeks https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/violin.gif

Well i hate to be an ******* but if you're doing a haltech install with fuel upgrades, etc. it's gonna be off the road a lot longer than 3 weeks https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.gif

Unless you're getting the plug in harness adapter from speedmachine in which case you will be able to save much time. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

thats what i'm gonna do when i go haltech (haven't yet, probably wil this year in my fd)

good luck with your project. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

The actual time we have in it is about 5-6 hours if you calculated the actual time. Just with my schedule and availability to work on it, it doesn't help. I also had to order some parts halfway through and get some parts sent out to get tapped for the sensors. The whole thing was out of my friends fd so much of the harness was terminated already, just had to extend a few wires and wire up the ignition/cas. The injectors are easy, those are just drop in upgrades, I don't have any SS lines or anything yet.

It would have been running Thursday if not for the fuel leak.

Thanks as soon I get the fuel rail bolt hole helicoiled it should be ready.

oh, well "actual work time" and "total elapsed time for project" are different https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

Hey Alex, thanks for joining up! If you have any questions about your car, post them in the 2nd gen section, and those guys are very knowledgable and respond pretty quickly. Nobody here is a real "search nazi" like you might find elsewhere.

Thanks, Ya I've noticed that too.

I just did the helicoil last night, I'm praying it works. If not, I don't know what else i can do

Here is a pic of what it looks like now.

Ignore the RTV, its all i could use at the time. And I went to clean up the excess and smeared it since it wasn't completely dry yet. I'll clean that up later.

Helicoil worked like a charm! Firing her up tonight i hope. There is spark but no tach?

Baldy 11-07-2006 01:22 PM

Awesome! dunno about the tach thing though.
