Hello everyone.
My name is Chris and i live in Canada. I just recently made a deal to become the new owner of a 1989 RX7 Turbo. However the car has two problems stopping it from hitting the road to get it home even...the lack of wheels and tires as well as seats. Already have the wheels covered with buying a set of steel winter wheels. The seats are what are gonna be a pain. Are there any alternitives that i can get from a car in the junkyard even to just get a drivers seat? |
Summit racing sells some nice, cheap plastic seats, as long as you can make brackets.

Welcome to nopistons, congrats on the purchase!

Just wondering... i know where there is a 1st gen RX7 in the JY...question...will the seats from a 1st gen bolt into an FC?
|
You should be able to find an FC in almost any good junkyard. check www.car-part.com to find something local.

The downside is that im in canada. The only FC i have ever seen in person is the one im getting. Hell even the FBs are hard to find around here..i have maybe ever seen 3 in person around here.

Just wondering something....How much HP can i safely get out of the stock S5 engine before i have to worry about major breakage. Im not looking for anything wild but would like to bump it up to about 250-300 if its possable to do. I know the engine starts at 200 Hp from the factory so one would assume it should be safe to at least get 50 more hp out of it with out it going boom right?

Post your question in the 2nd gen forum, you'll get more answers there.
