would this be a good deal? car with no motor I've been checking the net for prices and I was just curious. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

I wouldn't say it's a steal, dunno what kind of shape it's in being a stolen recovery.

no thats an awful price. theres a nice running one on ebay with an auto for either 8100 or 6100, i dont remember, and it would be a lot better to swap the auto to manual in a running car than to put an engine in. especially in a $9k car.

Buy my car.

you will be better off buying a well taken care of possibly modded car than buying one with no motor. you will end up spending more if you try to build your own engine than you would starting where someone else has gotten to.

Yeah.. I've got 30k in mine, I only want 17 for it.. and you'll have a great place to start modding from.

It's always better to buy the best example you can find of the particular car you're looking for than to buy a non-running car and put it together yourself. Period.

The only exception might be if you had a pile of good donor cars that you could pull free parts off of.

Unless you want an ornament for your garage floor, buy a car that runs!

No. They don't even put the mileage on the chassis. Is not worth it.

3rd gen hopeful 06-22-2005 02:42 AM

I didn't think it was worth it but i just wanted to make sure. I'll admit that i know very little about rotaries. I only understand the basic idea behind them. That's what intrests me the most about them! That's where the knowledge ends. Hope to learn lots though. Thanks again

Buy Steve's car. 17k and he throws in the Limp Bizkit he was bumping at the rotary BBQ
