A few years back, my brother bought a nice little 1987 RX7 turbo II. I figured replacing the dead 13b rotary would be no problem. After buying hundreds of dollars in parts and an engine from mazda, and after waiting many weeks for parts that weren't avalible from the auto parts stores, it took us a couple of months to complete the swap and make it run.

My question is this: is there a kit avalible that will allow the use of the fuel injection with turbo II 13b engine in a B2000 pickup, or Is the swap more trouble than the added performance would yield? Any tips on the subjct would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know what REPU meant until i went to the REPU section. I've got a 1988 13b with all accessories that has been sitting for 7 years, and a 1987 B2000 pickup with a bad motor. It would be nice to be able to pull into traffic and not risk being pushed off the road. The little rotary use to push my brother's car as if it had a big block in it. The little pickup would be an absolute animal with the turbo II motor in it.

See ya in the REPU section, rotaryturtle!!!

Thanks, Dave. Hopefully, I'll be able to bolt the rotary right in and not have to do a bunch of cutting and welding. I'm about to take your advice right now.

I,ll probably be posting in the REPU section next. Take care.
