Well I was on the Highway and this black late 80's early 90's RX7 flies by me in my gt and a fast pace and man was it loud... so I caught up whe he hit some traffic and I followed him till we got out of traffic he was doing about 70 when I pulled up along side. Man this lil boy was rude he just laughed and flicked me off and nailed it... so I nailed it and started catching back up and began passing him after about 90 it was more than walking away from him. I hit 100 and slowed back down to 60 and he just flies right on by ignoring me. Heck was going to give him the thumbs up for doing a pretty decent job. I hate rude people...... Oh well now if that had been my RX7 I probably would have outrun my gt... lol too bad I dont have an RX7 yet... It had a Turbo II badge on the side of it I believe.....

No FC's aint slow. It hung right along with me until about 90 where I began pulling away.... I was just annoyed because he was a dick.... My gt is completely stock so it is not like I am real fast... I still plan on getting an FD... I got a vid on my computer of an FD racing a Ford Thunder Bird Super Coupe which is a supercharged 3.8 from the factory. With a little bit of mods those cars are pretty capable of seeing high 12's....

I have a friend that had a Thunderbucket super coupe, and it wasn't that fast. He took it to the local drag strip and was running high 15s. And that was with exhaust on his car.

Ouch check his state of tune... the few that run up at gateway one is stock.... and runs right around 14.5 or so... the others are slightly modded and run 13's or so..... there are only like 3 or 4....

My friends stock 5.0 would run circles around his thunderbucket. He doesn't own it any more, but he had the thing in and out of the shop all the time (damn Fords). So it had some issues, thats for sure.

Neither of my Fords have ever given me any problems thats why I am loyal to them!

Even after the damage done to my 2.3 today thae car got me to where I needed to be. It looks like the car got a black eye but it made it! As it has through other problems! I even drove my 2.3 off road to get away from a Grand Am V6 chasing me... so my 2.3 has seen a lot of rough times and man it keeps coming back for more. Last Super Coupe I saw was sweet and fast and would of given a stock FD a good run if not ran with it the whole time... and it was more or less stock... had exhaust and pulleys on it.....

the guy would not let me over so I flew behind him flashed my brights (STUPID I know) and then got off and he followed me... so we are going down this secondary road at speeds of about 70 I hit the brakes fly down this narrow 2 lane road hoping to loose him and to my surprise the road goes down to 1 lane then ENDS! so he trapped me at the very end so I nailed it flew up over the curb fish tailed through the grass and mud he proceded to follow. I fly back onto the road and punch it at this point he is about 8-9 car lengths behind me I turn off my lights and fly behind a lil shopping center and come up on the far side still hiding. So I wait for about 4-5 minutes (1-2 songs on the cd player). So I venture back out onto the road and start going down this road... well he was at a stoplight flew through the red and back after me. We fly though another subdivision this time I know where I am and know the area and take as many turns as possible finally loosing him but not letting up.



Well after a half tank of gas I finally loose him. I know it may seem like the coward thing to do but in reality you never know if they are gonna pull out a gun or not! Also I had my g/f with me and was not going to risk it!

LOL! Some people are pretty stupid, and have way to much time on their hands. I've had similar things happen to me, only they didn't waste their lives trying to find or catch me. I've pissed a lot of people off since I've had my 7. :tounge:

lol if it had been my GT he would of been out of site in like 30 seconds! but my 2.3 is a bit slow.....
