Well.. the 350z's one was automatic, the other 6spd i believe, I took them both off the line like they went in reverse.. the guys kept saying how i was lying that i only had a downpipe and exhaust... all in all i ran them 4-times.. and killed them both by 4-6 cars each time...



2000 Civic Si with a revhard turbo kit, built head... this guy was quick... He stayed 1 length behind me all the way to the top of 3rd where i pulled 3 on him.. but i give this guy props.. his car looked really nice and was fast...

Saw a couple today, they just keep getting more common. Still beautiful looking, saw a nice 300zx tt too, which is very rare around here. was black w/ wheels exhaust, and no idea what else.

I've only had my FD up to 145mph. I am curious how fast I can really go in her. It's rare when I get the opportunity to go that fast though.

I"ve had my car touching 180 one night and one night only lol, of course it was a dry cooooold ass night and boost was running higher than usual. Havn't been able to do it again though usually tops around 170 if I get on a good stretch. guess it's just that good texas air lol.

i think the 3rd gens top out at 172mph IIRC.

Yea, that's true.. safety first, but I think he was simply comparing other cars to the FD.. I mean the lightness is one key aspect to the FD's quickness and maneuverability.

Mine has a down pipe. The best kill is catching sales people driving out of the dealership on test drives with perspective buyers. Invariably the salesperson will driving off the lot to beat the piss out of these new cars to show the buyer what they can do. It's a crack up when you spank a brand new sports car with the Z's old nemesis the Rx-7. I wonder if this kills the sale?
