It was a cold night a couple days ago and I was cruising when I heard this BOV go off next to me. I look over and I see this nice looking rx7. the newer ones with the pop up lights. He gives me a couple of revs and whistles from his car. I just laugh..cuz rx7s are slow. I mean if you want a fast car you gotta get a b18 c. So he decides to gun it and so do I. He pulls half a car on me then I started pulling back. I just kept pulling musta had like 9 cars on him when I let off at 165. it was a good race but I already knew I was gonna win.

F.N.G. That was a funny story. Let's see, you took him off the line, but then you said he pulls half a car length on you???? I can't do that math. Plus you took him off the line, but you were both rolling on the highway? Only in a honda world. Oh BTW, those are some serious mods that you have done, tell me what area you are in and how your car looks like, just in case I'm around that neck of the woods and I will be sure not to sound my BOV and force you to give me a beat down in your 92 Honda Civic...

Don't be too hard on the guy we know that this post is total BS, but maybe they were racing on a circular road and the 7 lapped him - be realistic guy, I haven't seen a civic that could take a 7, maybe there are some, but they are not street legal, and even if you COULD get a civic's gearing to allow you to 165 you would never overcome the drag to get there. just my .02 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

It CAN happen. Like I've said a million times before... My GSR ran a 12.89 with a stock bottom end... And that's a car that's heavier than your average 92 Civic DX. And a 92 Civic DX with a B18C and a snail is just that much faster.... I know the story says (Or Implies) the civic was N/A... But imagine the possibilities!! Banzai... TAKE YOUR DAMN MEDS!!! |
