Well, I was driving to my mother in-law's home in Countrywalk. I was going Westbound on SW 152nd Street, when I spotted a yellow (CYM?) RX-8 making a right turn up ahead, onto SW 137th Ave, heading North.



I had just done some more tuning on the car today, so I figured, "What the hell..."



I switch lanes, and make the same right turn, about 5 seconds behind him. The steet is now 3 wide lanes each way, no traffic at all, and we are approaching a Red Light.

He pulls on the left, I pull on the right. I look over at him, he's got the windows down, and the radio up. He sees me from the side of his car but pays me no attention. I guess he's too good for a stock looking GSL-SE.



I yell at him to get his attention, he lowers his window and the volume.



I yell, "So how is that Rotary Power?"



He responds with, "Its nice, and very fast!"



I tell him, "Nice!!", just as the light turns green..



I accelerate a little in front, waiting for him to bite..

Sure enough, he bit, hook, line, and sinker!



He guns it in 2nd Gear (The Renesis does sound nice) and tries to show me what the "Rotary Power" is all about..



I then Stomp on 2nd Gear, spinning tires all the way through 60, and then shift to 3rd, pulling at least 8 car lengths on the guy.



I was laughing inside so hard..., kinda feeling bad about beating a big brother though...



After I slow down, he finally caught up to me and with Big W-I-D-E Open eyes, yells, "What the hell do you have in there?? A Turbo?"



I yell back, "No, just a street-ported 13B". (I do have "A" pillar gauges which he could've seen, but I don't feel like telling the truth about my mods..)



He responded, "Damn, that thing is Fast!!", and I pulled away and made a U-turn back towards countrywalk.



He must have felt so small, to have a 1st Gen Whip his ass. It felt GREAT.



I realized I did it at only 12PSI, and I was spinning the tires half the time. Hee Hee..



I am having wayyyyy too much fun. Turbo 1st Gens are awesome!!



I still want a Silver RX-8 though...

HELLZ YEAH FIRST GENS ALL THE WAY! oww!

but on a serious note, nice ****** car a 1st gen with a BRE, DAYUM, make us proud!

yea i figured the 1st post made it seem like i didnt like YOUR car, when in fact i just dont like rx8's.



your car is sweet, id probably pay to see you beat an rx8 just so i can laugh at the rx8 guy.
