I just got my car saturday and since then it has been a blast. Cops are a big problem were I live. Alot of patrolmen. I live by Houston Raceway Park so their are alot of fast cars were I live. Well Today was oone heel of a day.



It's Exam week so I don't have to get to school till 10. I parked in the parking lot and then comes a 240sx which was The fastest car at the school. He parked next to me and asked if I wanted to race. :werd: I was half asleep. Here comes the ugliest CRX I have ever seen. It looked like it had been in a garage fire!! He stops next to me and asks if I want to race for money. He said that he could beat me no problem. Looked at my ca then asked what it was :squint: I drove off since the kid is like 3 years younger then me.



When I went to see Lord of the Rings I get pulled over by another Rx-7(FC). It was cool talking to him until he wanted to race me. My girlfriend comes over and she loves riding in my car so I take her to go pick up a pizza. On the way back a 2002 red corvette parks next to me and revs his engine. I rev back and it was on :bigok: He wanted to get in my lane to turn so I let him in. The only problem was he wanted to race in front of the police station :rant: We turn and he takes off. He wasnt even fast!! Their was too much traffic so he couldn't get far. I slow down to about 40 and 2 crx get beside me. It was like a seen from a movie or something. I couldn't race them because their neon was blinding me. It was bright!! So they pass....and then here comes a 80's mustang 5.0. He looked over sped up and then ran for the corvette. My girlfriend was so scared. I would have raced them if they went to the right street but in front of a police station? Thats gay.



As I get home I notice I need gas. So my girlfriend and I go back out to Texico. I gas up and then leave. I am driving slow down the main street in my town and someone starts riding my tail. He gets next to me and it is the prettiest yellow z06 I have ever seen. Inside was a 70 yr old man. We stop at a light. I look over...Light turns green and we are off!! He has a car on me in first and keeps pulling. Right when I got the hang of it a cop pulls out in front of me. I slam on the brakes and turn. Corvette follows. Sorry guys long story with no kills. I see these people all the time so maybe I will see them at the track! :bigthumg:

good judgement in my opinion. you just got that ****** thing and you don't wanna wreck it. i think you look cooler just sayin "you're not worth the time" especially cuz when people see the fd they will know wassup. BUT, you should do some reliablility mods THEN skirt out on all of them. good ****

I have the mods...the previous owner said 330 rwhp. Not exact though. give or take a little. The car has never been raced and I agree with you. I am not looking to wreck it. If they want to race Ill see them at the track. :twisted:

When someone revved, u should have rolled down the window and told them to follow you to somewhere safe, thats what I have down in the past, if we are not in a safe spot.

What the hell. I can't get a race to save my life. Nothing. Not that I really want to... But it's just funny being sideways while I pull on someone.. haha.

Well here is a follow up. I was showing my engine to my friend out on his driveway, and here comes the corvettes from last night. Not the Z06 but the other one. He roles his window down and asks me to race. I tell him to take it to baytown and I would do it. I just can't race in my town because cops hide out at every long road that is good for racing. He said that he would so maybe I will get my shot at him. He even offered to trade cars. His 1998 Red corvette with 40,000 miles. For my 1993 Fd with 60,000. I laughed and told him I would see him soon. Sad thing is that he is going to put a ram air hood on with new exhaust today. Said he would be adding 50Hp. IT might make it harder to beat him. well if it is a real ram air setup and exhaust it' gonna be a little more than 50hp..... just shift mad quik and chances are if he just puts those new mods on, he prolly won't be used to it. you need to capitalize on his wheel spin and get a big enough jump so he won't catch up.

ahah, 50hp? vettes already come with high flow exhaust stock, and ram air. i don't see more than a 20hp gain.

the exhaust on a stock vette isnt that great... and the actual ram air sytems ive seen advertised say between 20 and 30 hp. i would say around 30 for both...after you hear a corvette with a straight pipe you realize how restrictive those exhausts are

Being loud doesn't mean massive hp gains, look at n/a rx7s. And 30hp from ram air? They have ram air stock. So how do u figure? Only difference would be its closer to the throttle body. That sure ain't worth 20-30 hp. I know a guy whos dad has a v8 performance shop and told me that vettes don't gain **** on exhaust, even full exhaust.

Good report because while no kill this is probably the setup most of the time.good racing is timming.

I can only wish!!!!!!! Being the idiot that I am, I would have raced every single one of those cars. Then again, I seem to scare the crap out of all the kids out here...so bad that they dont even react to my taunting :smirk:

If I were you, I'd learn how to drive the car before getting into any sort of racing....
