If any of you don't know. I don't drive a rotary powered car, but I am a big fan of this website and plan on buying an FD next year. This is a little off topic, but somewhat relevant considering how pissed I am.

I was driving home the other night.. Crusin' in the right lane.. Adjusted the volume on my stereo, and some fag came right into my lane, no signal or anything... Crushing the front end of my 94 stang..

Pulled into a parking lot (saw a cop on the other side of the parking lot earlier in the day) and he was like "it was your fault".. I was like "dude, you came into my lane, no signal" and he started bitchin.. So i pulled out my phone to call the cops, and he was like "nooo noo... don't call the cops.. how much do you want" .. i told him to give me a grand and we'll call it even.. I said follow me to the bank.. Meanwhile, i didn't know what the damage total was, and if he even had insurance. So he followed me, and I pulled around right to where the cop was earlier, and sure enough the cop was still there.

The cop straightens things out.. no ticket for either of us.. I just wanted the cop to make sure his insurance and stuff was in check so I wouldn't get screwed.. Damn that sucks. I have an 86 GT Conv. I had a turning light one night a while back, when this prick in an XR4Ti turns right on red and jumps on into the left lane(where I am supposed to be). He clips my right fender and buckles my hood. Mine has the four headlight cluster, so all that stuff is cracked and broken. Dude keeps on rollin! I caught up with him at the next light and jumped out and snatched him out of the car. He gets all nervous and starts shaking and stuff. I didn't want to kick his ass, I just wondered if he noticed he cracked-up my ****. A cop sees us out in the road and comes over and gets dude to give it all up. I'm still waiting for a check from his insurance company.

yeah.. this is great now.. now i gotta deal with the god damn insurance companys.... who knows .. maybe i can take the check and get a little more outta it then i should if i get a small shop to do the work cheaper .... any suggestions ? the hoods clipped, the fender is completely done.. bumper .. done... headlight and marker lamp... done... the only cool thing i could think of getting is like a cool hood... booh. not on a 6 cylinder stang... or keep the money and put it down on an FD !!

dude buy an FD or an rx8 and come hang out with us already!

Fx doesnt HAVE to mean its rx7, its just the chassis code....early rx7s were SA

ha ha.. yeah man. I just don't know if i can afford to jump into a 300+ month car payment. I think im gonna get the 7, cuz the 8 needs turbo's. I got a job this year for Elkton Parks and Rec making 10 bucks an hour just playin kickball with 7th and 8th graders.. how much better does it get? only prob is that its only 10 hours a week.



BTW, will find out this week when the car goes in the shop. Prolly thurs, or fri. Wraith is comin up Friday, so i'll probably call you.

Here's a suggestion. Just put on a used fender, hood, nose, and lights. Go to the junk yard and find a car with a good front end and the same paint color(shouldn't be to hard, mustangs are easy to find) and buy them. Then just go home and slap them on your car. You'll probably save a few hundred in parts and all the money for paint and labor. Then you can put the saved money towards a 7 or an 8.

good idea. im gonna see what i can find and save.. cuz even a few hundred in my pocket would be nice.
