Im Out on loop 323 stopped at a light when a 02 cobra pulls up. He takes off from the light as normal then i catch up to him and ask him if its the 03, hes says its the 02 but that it wasnt stock. Next light was where it started. I had him by over a cars length the whole time. We were both being stupid and doing like 120 in a 45 zone. The cops had been trying to keep up for at least 2 miles which we were unaware of! Not untill we are nearly out of town and have slowed down to about 100 does the trooper turn his light on. 3 units show up asking us about who won the race and stuff. The troopers said that they wouldnt have caught us if they hadnt radioed ahead. The guy in the cobra was amazed at my cars performance and was giving me props the whole time we raced. Still the price is steep for being stupid. Ticket was for contest of speed. Wonder how much that will be......

my friend was doing 90 in a 60 in his 89 Saleen Mustang on the outskirts of college station on 2818 and got fined $250. Ouch. I'll try to keep mine under control.



i got a ticket a couple of weeks ago for doing 78 in a 65, flowing in traffic from San Antonio to College Station. Why was I picked out: stupid windshield wiper LEDs. How do I know, the cops says to me "what are those lights for?", I say "just for looks, their legal." Oh well, 1st ticket in 2 years, time for defensive driving once again.

Here's a goodie cop story. The first day, a Sunday, I was first able to run my motor and turbo hard, I went out to to the turnpike to test it out, w/my brother in passenger seat. We get on the abandoned pike and take off. Well, about 2-3miles down the road, and we're just hitting 130.

BAM! from the other direction comes unmarked HI-PO(we couldn't see him coming cuz it was a gentle curve). As soon as he passed me going the other way I saw his brake lights as he begin crossing the grass median to chase us.

I just pulled over right then, before he even had a chance to get behind us or turn his lights on.

First he was going to take me to jail for an expired license, until he realized my brother had temporarily lost his and couldn't drive the car home. Well, I guess he didn't feel like ******* around with us, so he straight up let us go with a verbal warning and a promise to go straight home.

Lucky us : )

OKIERX-7: He let you go b/c he didn't clock you. You were going to fast for him to turn on his radar. You also pulled over and stopped before he could check your speed from behind. Ask me how I know these things...one to many tickets...getting smarter though...hahaha.

Viper1308: If you live in Texas like I suspect you do then the ticket shouldn't be that expensive. Mine cost $65 for the court fees and $30 for the defensive driving.

here's a cop story. this was about 4 years ago. i was driving my 93 mr2 turbo. me and friends were racing down 880 from oakland to hayward. which is about a 15 mile run. about half way there, i was doing about 120-125 mph and i flew by a cop in a black and white bronco. he turned on the lights, pulled me over. yelled the **** out of me, took my licence and just threw in my face and said " now get the **** out of here". needless to say, i just said sorry and drove away. slowly. i got busted for doing over 120mph and got no ticket... woooo.. lucky me.

Since everybody is tellen stories ill share mine,,i live in NY so one day over the summer im going down i-135 in my celly with my friend,, cars slow as hell but i had it topped out at like 115-120, im just going along till i get to the exit for the parkway right before i merge on i relize that the green taurus i past about 5 min ago is still behind me, he merges first and gets along side of me and tells me to slow down,,at that point i had already wet my pants thinken it was a cop,,so i was kinda happy he wasnt,, droped a gear and cut him off,,lol wrong move as soon as i get in front of him the lights go off. i pull over he yells at me for about 10 min makes me get out of the car goes off on all the illegal stuff on my car,,bodykit to low,,tints,, stuff hangen from my rear view,,bla bla,,and to top it off i had no inspection,,,whats the cop do,,nothen lets me go with nothen at all,,i dont think he got my speed and i wasnt about to tell him how fast i was going,,,crazy Ny cops https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/moon.gif

Man that sucks, Here in Cali the CHP (these guys are pretty cool) clocks me doing that at least once a week. As long as I'm below 80 I don't even bother slowing down.



Some time ago when I lived in Tacoma WA I was going N/B on I-5. I was messing around with a prelude (I was drivng a Acura legend coupe) cutting in and out of traffic with my friend in his car trying to keep up from behind. To make a long story short a WSP (some of the biggest pricks you'll ever meet) saw me and was ridding halfway on the median and half way in the right hand slow lane, waiting for me. I was also in this lane eating brakes trying to figure out what to do about the Porker with no lights on... yet. This lane turns into an exit only, with a concrete divider. I cut back over to the freeway at the last minute. This PO'ed cop punches it since he will be able to merge back onto the freeway up ahead and get me. I pull over close to the divider and eat brakes with my buddy behind almost rear ending me. I throw the car into reverse and start backing up on the freeway and my Buddy does some quick thinking and figures out either move or get hit. Reverse for about ten seconds and then onto the off ramp for a nice slow ride home. I didn’t officially run from any cops since he never turned the lights but it was still a little close for comfort.

Yeah, the WSP sucks ass. The state piggies on Whidbey can suck turds out of my ass with a straw.
