This guy was desperate for a race. He kept trying to get a friend of mine (with a new turbo civic coupe, 13.9 ETs) to run'em. Someone pointed at my car and said it was a bit faster. So he approached me and of course I couldn't say no...
We got to the local spot, him and like 5 other cars (civics) followed me. So as I was telling them how it works there, they're all saying **** like "Hey, you were getting flames out your exhaust" etc. So anyways, we raced from a slight roll, about 15mph. My clutch needs upgrading, and he didn't have good tires so it sounded like the way to go. We hit it and it's pretty even at first, but as soon as 4500 rolls around, it's goodbye integra. Pulled about 2-3 cars easily by end of 2nd, third made it that much worse. Would've been even better if I didn't have massive boost leak syndrome going on. Set PFC for 15psi and I make 11-13psi. On that run I didn't even pay attention to the boost. Oh well. |
Nice run... I had a turbo GSR. I could hang with my 2 friends FD's till about the top of third..
Highway they killed me. |
i wouldn't mind a GSR.. but i love my fc so much

I h8 ITR's!!!
|
Nice kill BTW on the GSfar...
|
Thanks! Woulda been better but on the way to the spot, I couldn't make more than 11.5 psi. Also, no brake boosting since in first gear it's not like I woulda been going anywhere anyways. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Nice!!! I like Hondas a lot.... they make awesome commuter cars. They suck as sports cars. Unless of course your talking NSX or S2000.

ohh sweet so brake boosting would still take some time to learn of coarse
|
Brake Boosting acoudl break your rear tires loose thou kinda like how you power over for a drift right.
|
Civic's and CRX's go fare hard........
