so kevin and i see this and jet out in our cars...kevin gets out first and takes off....and i followed a minute later.



theres a cop pulling over a truck or something so kev slows down and turns around at the next u turn



i keep going following these 4 dsms



the i pick off the shitty ones and leave them behind so its me and the "fastest" one.... a white 2nd gen with altezzas a shitty paint job and ****..... 20g turbine, FMIC, injector work, SAFC, and some other ****.... brendondrecksage knows him and hes got 310AWHP





anyways i **** with him a bit to get him to play....finally we line up at about 50 mph .... he takes off, i let him go for a few seconds...then romp on it....pass him and kick his ass, let off around 115 mph and he was way far back.....



i turned right at the next light cause i thought the dsms turned off cause i couldnt see them, at the light waiting to go back into rt 22, i see them pass by about 5 mins later.....



i go back to dunkin donuts and we have fun a bit more there and we all split up

lol...if you know the whole story..you'd think it was sadder...he used to have a vpc and a bunch of other stuff in it, but it never ran right...sat at turbo trix for a year, and they couldn't fix it, i'll ask his what psi he had it dynoed at

the dsm's are horrid on the freeway. Around here there was a big fued we had going. A few times a month we would all meet up (about 50 people) and battle it out. It all started when one of them made fun of my exhaust because i didnt tighten it down well enough one day and the bolts came loose and it sounded horrid. So i beat one of them and make a joke about him whining about his crankwalk problems. lol.. after that, it was on. about 12 dsm's vs me and me, my freinds b18 bored to 2.0l turbo vtec crx, and my friends 300zx tt. By the end of the summer that year, dsm guys had to shut up, cause even their fastest guy was losing to us. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png It was great.

i guess any dsm guy with a gsx or a tsi awd should just really eat their words talking fast.... when are some of these guys gonna learn that it's really true when they say that a dsm with awd can't pull for **** at speed... the way those cars win races is from a dead ass stop... that's how they get a good hop in the 60' time... without that they don't have **** on any other cars... but it is pretty sweet when some of em can post high 11's with just over 1k worth of work in the car... please don't call bullshit because i've seen it done and there were a couple of 1st gens in my highschool that were in the 12-13 range with a cheap turbo and a gutted exhaust and intake...

around 2500 gets the 1st gen AWDs into the 11s...my friend did it.... 16g turbo, walbro pump, fuel controller, fmic, safc, 820cc injectors and a few other things...im not sure on it all

my friends got a 91 gsx eclipse.. exhaust, and rebuilt turbo... thats it.. and he runs low 14's easily..btw, he never takes it over 5k rpms' ... pretty killer car.. and he baby's it.. oh 18' rims and foglights

only 5k? why even race it, but none the less they are very potent cars
