I know this probably belongs in the kills section, but I never go there, so I'm sharing it here. :P
So, I'm coming back from the mall, where I got a haircut after work, and I'm going up North Davis Hwy (as if any of u know the roads around here). I pull up behind a brand new M3. I'm thinking "I would love to play with this car, but I have very little gas in the tank." Well, he revs his engine at me. Oh HELL NAW! We both turn down University Pkwy, and he gets on it. I mash the gas, and drift around the corner. I almost immediately pull ahead, and just keep putting car lengths on him. He was completely on the throttle, too. I top out 3rd gear, and notice that he's about 15 car lengths back, and I let off. He pulls back up, and we go at it again, with the same result. Towards the end of the road, where I was turning, he pulls up, and says "I've gotten too many speeding tickets." OK that is why you lost. Sure tell yourself whatever you need to, to conserve your manliness. That bitch got so owned! My car was right on "E" too. Even if I had blown my engine, it would have been worth it. My performance mods are full 3" exhaust, ghetto intake, and a pettit computer, running 10lbs on the AVC-R. SOOOOOOOO happy! |
cool, i raced a new m3 right when they came out, in my fd and the look on the guys face was great "why am i loosing to a 10year old mazda?"

It's always the quite ones you gotta watch out for, eh Danny? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
Badass :bigok: |
M3s are rich prick cars. The new ones sound like **** in my opinion. An M Coupe on the otherhand is a cool car, even though its ugly.

wow good job, but having sat/driven in an M3 i'm sure the guy didn't mind, that car is soooo nice just to ride in. The new ones have adjustable acceleration response, and one of the coolest features is the redline. You know how you shouldn't overrev your car when it's cold cause when it's cold there's no expansion forcing the seals to be sealed etc and it just rips stuff apart? Well on the M3 it determines your engine temp and sets the redline at the appropriate level (the tach is digital and you see the redline go to the appropriate place. ONce everything is warmed up the redline slowl goes back to where it would sit at normal operating temp, i think7krpm, but maybe 6k i cant remember.

by the way not downplaying your car or your kill, just sayin how nice the m3 is, personally i like the fd's better more bang for the buck.

Nice kill, especially for your mods, I always though those m3s were a lot faster. I think they sure look/are nice cars though.
