Well i'm out at the local street scene and this guy in a audi S4 starts talking up about how his car is the ****. And he's glad to see another car that could " keep up with him " So every one starts to gather thinking we are goin to go at it. Well they were right i wanted to show him i'm not just some car that can " keep up with him ". So i name the place and we go, it's a perfect track but the cops come after 1 or 2 runs so we were just goin for it once. We both lined up and one of my buds did the honers. His hands droped and i let it out at 5500 RPM got a little wheel hop and i was off. This S4 which by the way i hear is AWD, gets left behind. i'd say by the top of 2'nd i'm 5 cars on him. he doesent even cross the line till i turn around. Yeah that's what me and all my friends thought, that the AWD would eat me off the line but he didnt. i think they a Twin Turbo V6 V-Tecs with AWD, that's what i heard. But they weight like 4200 lbs. Yea i know about the tires i'm getting new ones soon.

The S4's are out dated. Cool for their time but couldn't keep up with an Rx-7. THey are only rated at 250Hp stock and weight 3700lbs. Hell...A new 350Z could kick its ass. They have a Bi-Turbo 2.7 litre engine with AWD. Not much output froma twin turbo.





But beware.....They are bringing the name back in 2004. New 3.0 litre engine that will be pushing at least 350hp from what I heard. It will be a much needed edition to the Audi line-up.

S4s kick ass! They just need to be tuned.



Did you all ever see that clip from the Gumball Rally where the S4 spanked a Z06? The S4 had 2 or 3 people in it and it pulled like 5 cars on it!

The RS6 would be a sweet car if it wasn't ONLY tiptronic! That's crap!

I dont think you can call an S4 a sedan. It is small as hell inside. We almost bought one but didnt because it was too small.

its fast as a fucker ... theyre severly limited from factory..... just cause its easy doesnt mean it sucks :P

theyre also really ******* amazing at autocross...



and rx7 kid....if you have stock rims + tires on them put them back on NOW!.....do not ride with that on ur FD thats way too low and its counterproductive = shitty for safety and performance

My friend is really into Audis, he introduced me to the S4.



He's been really pissed off at APR. It took him 3 months to get his boost gauge!

my last car before the seven was a 1.8t without quattro. audi without quattro isnt an audi at all. it was quick though, plenty of handling for a sedan. i would love to own an s4. the new s4 actually beat the e46 m3 in c&d's last comparo. thats got to be the first time in history anything has ever beat the m3 in that magazine.

I'll never know why he didn't get Quattro.



...And he still wants to mod the crap out of his car. I told him to trade it in for an S4.

my older brother had a 2000 S4. x-chip, downpipes, exhaust, coilovers, boost guage, BOVs (i know the last two aren't really 'performance minded' mods...). if you know how to launch them, they'll throw you back in your seat and give you whiplash everytime.

I raced an S4 at the track, and he handed my ass to me. Of course, I don't drive a single turbo FD either.

When I have money, an S4 will be my daily driver...an FD or FE(haha) will be reserved for the weekend.
