well, i was on my way to get some mickyD's and i see a nice, clean & wide cabrio porsche about 15 cars ahead of me. i *slyly* pass him @ 80 in 4th, and am thinkning to myself that, boy this sure is a sweet spot for my car to be in and to pass it up. i was at about 4k rpm and having a personal conflict....remember, put yourself into my shoes and remember that i have a highly modded fd with NO ENGINE MANAGEMENT! i just am usually very conservative and do not race or boost over 10psi......well, he gets in behind me and starts to creep up on my position, so i get into it a little. i am immediately trapped by traffic. he switches lanes and takes off. i thought to myself "what a focking *****", i was afraid that i would not get to catch back up with him. ~1 later, i got back in behind him and we were about a mile from some fairly twisty part of the highway.....i notice him get into it, and the debate ended. i put my foot all the way in. ****, after about 10 seconds, i have to brake because i almost ran to the back of him, well, there was actuall about a car length left, but the speed factor came into play, and we were haulin *** in a lane that was soon to end.



well, after this, we end up side by side in opposing lanes and getting with it. we were even from about 80-100, and then i crept out about a car, then another 2 cars by 140.....i ran to 148~ and then he cruised by, again my lane was ending, and he would not let me in....



well, i guess that i would be pissed too, if my 80K convertible got spanked by a 10yr old MAZDA...right........



oh well, here is the JUICY stuff......

my avc-r read a top speed during the run was 151mph

.67bar of boost, do the math, less than 10psi

and rpm of 6980......hell i did not even reach red line.....



i can not wait until i get this bastard tuned....

well, actually, my fd's 'born on date' from japan is 04/92 that is almost 11 years old. the 93's were really 92's sold as the 93...right....thanks
