driving around at deer park ave a near by car spot i noticed a new z06 vette yellow with a kit zooming around. he went to the highway followed by a bunch of guys wanting to race him. among them (mostly domestics) were a trans am and a brand spanking new SVT Cobra anyway transam and the vette go at it and im trapped behind a huddle of domestics scared to go over 110. me and the cobra split from the pack and find ourselfs on an empty highway. the casual exchange of evil grins (of course) and he yells "third beep". so we get it down to 20 and downshift . after the third beep he kinda got a jump on me not too bad by the end of second we were dead even. i shifted quicker into third and by the time i was about to shift to fourth i had about a car and a half on him and he let off. still tingeling from the first race i slowed down, this time 10mph roll, he gets a big jump but i still take the lead by the end of 3rd this time only by about half a car length (i lost traction in 2nd) anyways we stopped at a light as we were getting closer to the more populated area of the highway and he told me he used to drivee a GTI until he bought this one 2 weeks ago. Beautiful car looked like a charcoal grey. brembo brakes were sooooo shiny i want nice brakes too :(. anyway i was really happy seeing as i didnt think i had a snowballs chance in hell against a new cobra.



oh yea side note max boost throughout the races was .82 must have spiked cause i was set to low boost (.80)



mods listed below im gonna go find out the stats on what these cbras are supposed to run.

wait so you passed a big group of guys doing 110mph, then had the time to slow down to 20mph on the highway without these guys flying in, over, and around you two? Did you go on a seperate highway? Nice kill though teach those domestics how to play!



Also be happy it wasn't a Cobra R pushing like 390hp that they have now, those are evil little bitches.

no he said that they ended up on an empty stretch of highway and slowed down. and i think the 110 mph remark was because he thought they were afraid to go over 110 in a race....

r xplicit has got the idea. what are teh stats on a SVT Cobra as compaired to the one i raced how do i know what cobra it was. all i know is it was a 03' and it had the SVT badge by the drivers brakelight and cobra embedded in the bumper. how much hp do the lowest model cobras run and anyone know what their 1/4 is?

if it is a 2k3 and has the svt badge, then it is the blown cobra pushing 390hp......easily achieving 400 with some simple mods....

yea only stats i could find were hp/torque both 390 and get this 3670lbs. thats one heavy mofo. anyone know what their 1/4 is?

..sounds like low low 14s or high 13s.
