I've been getting emails and PM's, so I'm going to explain everything in one shot here.



The paint I am using to paint the interior is 'Dupli-Color Auto Spray', and can be found at wal-mart in the automotive section. Its just auto body paint, but the stuff works wonders on any surface and doesn't peel or scratch off, unless you are REALLY trying to get the stuff off. And once you spray it on a couple times, take some 1000 grit wet/dry and give it a quick sand, then polish with rubbing compound 1500 grit and you'll have one very nice finish. You could actually buy their clear coat and give it a glossier look too. This is a very simple and inexpensive way to liven up the interior. Anybody that has ever thought about having the center console and dash pieces painted or buying one of those overlay kits can easily do it themselves for about $5 and a few hours time. I have seats on the way and i'll have updated info and pics soon.

so what exactly do you have to replace to get rid of the tan interior? just the carpet and seats (i dont have one yet so im not sure what exactly i need to replace)

Yeah all you need to replace is the carpet and seats. I suppose you could have the carpet dyed, seems like i've heard of this method before. The seats can be re-leathered, but that can be more expensive than buying new seats. If the stock leather seats are in good enough condition you can have them dyed as well. Any of the stock panels can be painted.

good i can get the carpet died, swap in some racing black&red seats, buy some spray paint and whammo i'll be done.

Yep, just make sure you get the paint I mentioned. I tried other kinds of paint and none of them worked well at all. They would peel or scratch off easily.
