ok guys... i think that most of you know that my fd has been in the shop for a long long time.( 4 months now) we just tried to fit the scoot hood, but it won't fit unless i take off my $25 ebay strut tower bar. does anyone know which one will fit. and does anyone want my strut bar. i'll give it to someone for free. just send me a box which it can fit in and return postage. thanks for all your help. i'll post pic of my car once i get it this weekend.

hey guys, my hood is in and i just got to take a look at my car. it looks MEAN!!! but i do have a problem. there seems to be a cover for the two large vents on the hood. now, if i put the covers on, i blocks out water from getting in my engine. but the water would just stay there since it's kinda bowl shaped. but if i drilled i hole in it, water would still get in my engine compartment. what should i do?? how is it suppose to work???

Dragon 10-01-2002 04:43 AM

drill a small hole in it where It won't drain on to anything important or where it will miss the engine and fall to the ground...

JT-Imports 10-01-2002 12:53 PM

Spoken like a PRO hehe

grngtcfd3s 10-03-2002 12:05 PM

thanks, slava told me that alot of people don't even put it on. and the water that comes in don't affect the motor. what you think??

Dragon 10-03-2002 04:55 PM

Yea you can do that, but water likes to get in to things like relays and the altenator and they usually don't last to long after that happens... At least try to keep them dry...
