Has anybody ever done this to an FD and where would you go about getting parts for a project like this?

Do you mean LHD to RHD? That's uber lame. The $$ and work to do so is not worth the "Oh cool" factor you get...and certainly not the awkward way to drive it (Drive-thru, turning, etc). Spend that money on the engine/wheels. Blah. |

I would do it just because I'm so used to shifting with the left hand ands steering with the right.
