I sat in a friend's 330CI today with red leather interior and I was just thinking about how cool that would look in my FB. Of course I would have to do a lot more work to get it to look fitting, I was just wondering if FD seats came in red leather, or if there are seats that are bolstered enough to be comfortable yet stiff for the occasional race that would work in my car.

fd seats did come in red leather, kinda rare though

Red leather, without seeing a picture, seems too aggressive imo.
You could always scrap a pair of seats and have them re-upholstered. |

I guess with red carpet and black mouldings as accents it isn't too drastic, It's much easier to form an opinion once one can look at it.
I had invisioned a full, red, tuck and roll interior similar to that of a 70's era Cadillac, overkill, WAYYYY to much red. |
Yeah, some did come with red seats. It had the red seats and black dash and black door panels.
Good luck finding them. I think victoriabritish sells leather seat covers that go right over the FD seats, so you just buy some used shitty fd seats, and buy the new leather covers, and you are officially pimped. |

The only thing that would stop me from doing would be the ability to have a harness...I don't know how many of you have them, but it seems like a pretty important thing to have if you plan to drive spiritedly...or is it just overkill? |
