Does, or has, anyone ever used Raybrig lights?? Are they good? Bright? I'm upgrading my headlights now, I have always just used sealed beam replacements on my FC, but now am going to convert them to the H4 type. I really want to get a nice HID kit, but dropping $700-$1000 on lights is just a little bit much right now...maybe later :squint:

I have been looking around and see that alot of GT, JTC, and someother road race cars are using Raybrig...there must be a reason. Anyone running Raybrig? Either street or racing? I hate colored lights, I care about visibility! I want something that will give me a great amount of light.

I have Catz h4 bulbs in mine

They are very bright. Cost me about $70 or so two years ago. I bought them from Pettit Racing

where did you get your Catz lights? How much did those run ya? The Raybrigs that I am looking at right now are like 86 for the pair, and I am getting the conversion lenses for 35.

Autozone sells these killer lights called Cool Blue from Sylvania, they are the bomb, yo....what's up Dustin? I say go with the Raybrig, at least you won't meet too many other people with them. And you can say that they are from the Raybrig NSX and all this other JGTC Bullshit.

nah, I will leave the ricer lights to Team Penny fucks....I think I am going to go with them I just wanna see if anyone else has them already...and the NSX IS running the R1000 series, and I found a few other Teams that are running both the NON HID's and the HID's, the non HID's are the Racing Thunder Series and for 'off road' use only..just what I need.

Like i said before, I could care less about "pretty colors" and all that BS, I was to SEE!!! Visibility baby, white light.. :twisted:

I bought those for my 4runner cause I was desperate and felt like spending the extra money thinking they were better cause they were the most expensive. Might as well tape a damn maglight to my hood.

That's the way most people are.. if something cost more, they automatically think it's better.. Although most of the time things that cost more tend to be better.

I got them for my truck. At least half of the people I pass at night flash me w/ their high beams thinking I have mine on. I just flash them right back and blind the $%!# out of them.

I have a friend that bought those for his ZX2 and he didnt think they were very good..you put them in a truck? That would explain people flashing you, semi bright lights at eye level.

I hate getting infront of a bigass RICER truck(you know you've seen them, late model trucks jacked 5ft inthe air, but obviously never see offroad, chrome undercarage, neon lights...) with bright ass ricer lights(those rainbow ones ******* suck..) RIGHT at eye level...damn I hate those fucks.

But anyway, back to Raybrig...is $140 too much for GOOD quality lights?? I mean, these puppies are the next thing to real HID, 55w input, 140w output, 4000K light....
