If a radio has no internal amplification then you can hook it up to the stock wiring without having to wire around the amps right? I need to make sure other wise ill have to continue to drive with no radio.

if you are going to use a aftermarket radio and a aftermarket amp, then

only use the power, ground, lights, and turn-on leads from the stock wiring, which can all be found easily with a test light. Leave the rest of the factory wiring intact, then run new speaker wires from your aftermarket amp to your speakers. Please get rid of that signature, it lags others computers and makes typing annoying.

A non-amplified radio is exactly what you would want to use with the factory amplified speakers - There is only one big warning... Be sure the factory amps can accept the current output of the new radio.

What resistance (ohms) does the new radio accept?
