whats a good way to clean up oxidised aluminum? i dont want polished...
i'm thinking a brass brush? |
beadblast!
erm, i know anodizers dip the alum in acid to take off the top layer and then dye it and then it re-oxidizes. brass brush isnt a bad idea but i honestly dont know whats involved w/ the oxidization and what would be needed to remove it. basically you remove the oxidization and it re-oxidizes. try inserting the brass brush up your ass |
high grit sand paper

Flour! I'm not kidding.

high grit sand paper My brother sanded his Al toolbox on his truck, looked pretty good. Of course, if whatever you have it textured, not sure what would work. |
