Can someone recommend a good oil-free (non-armorall) interior dressing?

I use Mothers. It says it's non oily and uses silicon emulsion, other than that I have no idea if it's really oil free.

the whole point of interior dressing is the silicone, or "grease " as you call it that protects the surfaces.



There are some "body shop safe" silicone free dressings, but you would have to check a local auto detail supply store for that kind of thing.

I was at a full-service car wash, they used a product that was 'oil free' or some ****, said it was better for the surfaces than armorall. Just curious.

the surfaces need the silicone to keep them from drying out



maybe they were using a body shop safe dressing, either way your not

getting the protection of the silicone.



by the way- armorall is garbage compared to a good silicone based dressing, armorall has some alcohol in it, which is pretty useless.

Maybe that's what they were referring to. So I understand that the vinyl needs to be protected, but what about the plastic trim? is it necessary to dress those as well? or is that just done for aesthetics?
