is it really the best stuff for plastics?
http://www.novuspolish.com/ dont forget to watch the video. |
My dad's been using it for a while, swears it's the best he's ever used.
|
yes, it's pretty good stuff.
you can get small scratches out of plastic vert top windows too. |
i wonder how well this would do on my wrangler's side windows??
89 rag- what kind of material is on the 'vert tops? is it a really hard plastic? and, the website does not get me anything for products, just a front page. what the hell? can i find this stuff at a parts store? |
I used to use it on my jeep windows, good stuff, dunno about a miracle product, but it's good stuff.

Some kind of synthetic vinyl, I think, it seems to be hard to keep up after so many years. a plastics distributor should carry the product, as well as some of the detailing supply houses nationwide. |
rowtah- if your talking about the back window in a rx7 vert, its glass not plastic

rowtah- if your talking about the back window in a rx7 vert, its glass not plastic glass? wow, impressive. i don't believe there are any detail shops in my area, but i have not really checked. thanks for the information. my back window and side windows on the wrangler are just scratched up from rolling the back window up, and the side windows just being out. |

|
i know NOT to do that. i will take the side windows out. now the back window is going to be the tough part. it does not come out in ANY way.

take the whole top off, isnt it coming off for the winter anyhow? no, i have no desire to get a hard top. soft top works fine in the winter. |
Don't forget to tell us what you thought of it if you actually do pick some up!
|
I have used the stuff for years, it really works great, for plastic.
glass is a whole other topic, deep scratches can be removed from glass, or at least minimized by using a special polishing wheel which attaches to a drill motor and some jeweler's rouge, you just have to keep it damp while you are polishing or the glass can discolor and/or crack (creates a lot of heat) |
I will let everybody know when I pick the stuff up and use it. Scout's honor!
