was trying to go up my friends driveway and the drivers side skirt, which is held by screws and double tape, came loose. wanted to know what type of double tape is used, to reattach it.

thanks

JT-Imports 01-06-2004 03:39 AM

3M double sided body tape, dont have a exact part number, just

go to any body shop or supply place, they always have rolls on hand.

make sure everything is clean and wax free before applying

I would also try to make sure the car and the tape is warm

would a torpedo heater facing directly at the side of the car work?? or is that way too much heat.lol

Rob x-7 01-07-2004 06:37 PM

I guess you dont have any place indoors to do it?

if not the heater will work

treceb 01-07-2004 07:06 PM

i guess i can try to schedule some time on the garage.

the tape will stick better when its warm

it definitly cant be as ******* cold as it is now, if you were local

I would help you out
