hey guys.. i'm wondering if anyone here have the scoot replica hood???
i need to put on the covers to prevent water in my engine. how do you put them on. i don't want to drill holes in my hood... i'd tried to double side tape it.. but it won't stick..i'd used the same ones that come with body kits. now i'm think of using duc tape... any idea's |
super glue?????
Epoxy?????? JB weld????? |
Rubber cement?
Elmers glue?????
boogers???
shouldn't they just snap in?
no they're just some fiberglass pieces that fit under the vents on the hood... i don't want it there for good... just for now when it rains.
weird. I'd imagine it'd be tough to get them set on the motor just right so that the hood closes onto them... WTF does RotaryExtreme say aboot this?
I would say to epoxy in some small blocks and then screw your covers to the blocks when you need to put your covers on. Or you can have a canvas shop make some pieces of canvas with some snaps and snap them in when its going to rain.
