I mounted the sender in the Water Pump Housing neck, where the TB coolant return used to be

I routed mine on the passenger side where the wiring harness passes thru the firewall, super easy, no holes needed

to be drilled, mine was a 7/8" fitting so I was relieved not to have to drill holes.

I just took a screwdriver, gently pushed the boot that protects the wires downward, then shoved a snake in the hole attatching the sender to the other end of the snake, pulled it thru and was done.

Just have to watch how long the tubing is, 6' is just enough to mount to the center console.

UPDATE!!!!!. Don't try to save a buck or two on gages. Since $$$$ was tight last week I purchased a SUNPRO brand Mechanical Temperature Gage to Install. I was getting a discrepancy between the Stock Gage and the Sunpro, which is mounted in the Water pump housing outlet. When I was running 230º on the way home last night, I went to lowes and picked up another Digital meat thermometer to check the SUNPRO.

AMB Temp: 93º

Stock Gage: ~1/3

Sunpro: 210º

Accurite Meat Thermometer: 184º

Needless to say the SUNPRO is going back and a Autometer is going in!

BTW, I run Evans NPG+ so I need a mechanical vice the electrical gage due to the non-conductivity of the coolant
