i am looking for a body kit for my 86 RX-7 but every kit i find says it fits 87 and up. I have found none would a body kit for the 87 fit my 86 . if not what are the differeces in the year ? thanks

They're the same. 86-88 RX-7's all have the same body style. 89-91 is a little different, but alot of the 86-88 parts will fit them.

the 89-91's fenders are a bit different at the front.If you find a used kit in good shape for the newer ones.Just swap the newer fenders on.If your buying new all 86-88 are the same.
