Do you have to screw them in?

Where did you get those black ones?

ZeroBanger 05-22-2003 10:42 AM

as I said in the captions, The black ones are the same ones, I just painted them. You have to take a drill, cut 2 holes in the metal of the car for each plate. So you put the plate on the car and HOLD it steady. Make sure its the way you want and lined up good. Take a marker and mark where the holes in the plates are. Remove the plate, Drill that area out with a drill. They supply rubber rings that get placed in the holes, you just put those in, put the plate on top and then screw the plate down.

You never have metal touching metal. it works real good. what ever you do, paint the damn things (unless you have silver or red car).

Done deal.

I want a carbonfiberparts.net sponsorship https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

mkoch1 06-15-2003 09:54 PM

Okay the first set is done and the fit great. Big thanks to Justin for letting me use his car. The finish on the first set wasn't very good but it proved the mold makes parts that fit. The first good set is already spoken for but after that it's first come first serve. It takes me about 1.5 -2 weeks to make a set. I can of course work on a few sets at a time. Price for a set is 135 + shipping. It includes the 2 sills and mounting hardware. They will mount the same way the stock metal ones do, with 2 well nuts. The sils will come pre drilled so all you have to do is drill the 2 holes in the car sil. If you are interested please go to my site carbonfiberparts.net and contact me through the site. It's the only way I can keep track of all the emails I get.
