I have a 93 RX7 R1. Does anyone know how to take out the a/c panel (Has a/c dials on it and surrounds the radio and pocket in dash). I have got it most of the way out but it is stuck on the side next to the guages. Is their just a couple more clips or a hidden screw? On the other side of it their was just clips but this side just seemed harder and I didn't want to brake it. Any help would be great. I am strippping all my interior to clean it. I got the car a week ago and it is filthy inside. Any help would be great.

Also is their a web site that has diagrams of interior removal?

It's been a while but I've had to remove it before to get the parts CF'd...

To remove the A/C panel I believe there were a couple screws. 2 were by the shifter so you had to pull the shifter panel off to get to them. Then I believe there was another one or two hidden by your gauge panel where all your meters are... These two were tricky and there might be a better way of taking out the A/C panel. But for me, I just took out the gauge panel since it had to be CF'd anyways, twisted and turned a bit, and finally got a screwdriver in there to unscrew them.

If you're in or near Union City, I wouldn't mind showing you exactly where they are. But until I get my car back from KDR, I won't be able to take any pictures of the removal. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blush.png

Thanks for your help I just got mine out today. Their were two screws under shift panel and two behind the guages. It took me forever to get out the guages. I got it all cleaned up and I may paint it silver while I have it out. Would that be to much like a ricer or look good? Tell me what you think.
