Cool Lewis.

I dont buy my supplies from Home Depot LOL

I get my stuff online.

I have never really had a problem with the white rouges that I have used.

Red rouge on the other hand :squint: so i dont use red anymore.

Well I'll pick up a unsewn pad next time and try that with my white and see if i notice a difference.

My buffer doesn't bog, maybe you should get one like I have https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Im using sewn pads. I have never tried the others. Are they pretty good for final polishing?

The clear that Im using claims that it doesnt yellow.

I am not going to clear my UIM just in case though. You never know.

I did about 4-5 coats total. And I am drying it all with a heat gun.

Roan I really dont have the time to tackle your parts. Sorry man.

My car is eating up all my free time. Maybe when thats done I'll get the chance.

Thats my fault I know that I offered to polish for people but I thought I would be able to.

I still have Demetrious's stuff to do aswell. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/violin.gif

have you talked to D lately? He may be starting my car up for the first time in 17 months tonight :smirk: not his fault.

What about polishing and clear coating my stock FD wheels? How difficult is that to do?

R1TT 02-17-2003 02:20 AM

cool shiny, how long did the polish take? I wanna do mine now

those polishing pad's just go on the bench grinder right?

where's the best place to get the polish pad's at and which one's did you use

I tried to do an old broken fd wheel and man was it a pain in the ass https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png it would not be worth it to do them for any money because they take so long to do https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png

You should talk to 7sins. He got his stock rims powdercoated and they look hot.

I think he only paid about $120 plus the powder.
