Hey,
I was wondering how hard it is to get these in.... https://www.procarparts.com/producti...-XXXX-RVGX.jpg |
easy....dont.....weeeeeeeeee no rice
umm...theyre easy...take out gauge cluster...unclip plastic....put over old gauges.....wire the light switch .....reassemble |
So.... what's with the "rice" thing I see on the board... I assume it's a bad thing.. and apparently it's when you install mods that advertise - like decals, seat covers, lighting etc..?? But it's ok to mod stuff like engines? Just trying to understand the whole "rice" thing...

I replaced my guage faces a few years ago with the plain white NR ones. It's pretty straight forward.
You will only have to recalibrate the guages when you are done so you need to take notes on guage positions before dsassembling them. -Dave |
i got some gauges simular to those but i can't figure out where to wire them to if anyone know please tell me.

If the selling company has any brains, they'll include a disassembly/reassembly sheet, which will tell you the best position to set the needles before you pull them off, as well as how to reset the gauges upon installation.
