I'm pretty sure you ram a flat piece of metal between the 2 wheels, roll it back and forth, gradually bending the metal. At least that's how I saw it on TV.
|
thats sweet. you have no idea how fast i can take a nice peice of sheetmetal and turn it into scrap https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

With that I can do it faster! , and crush a finger or two to boot.
On the serious side, I can weld that up for ~75.00 Vs. 600 to buy a small one!!! |
we have one of those, definitely need to watch the fingers.
my dad is like an amateur metal working guy, he does tons of body work on his old tractors and ****. it's definitely a hard skill. kevin. |
english wheel is the way it used to be done.
I would love to be able to work one of those, use some lead to attatch 1/4 panels and I would really be old school! |

Man makes cars out of clay molds, then its machines that takes over from there using the molds that were created by human hands. Fikse- That machine pounds metal into the shapes you want it |
