would there be a problem in connecting the cap into the switched power line im using for my radio, just making sure it wouldnt draw to much from the one wire?

a capacitor has to be hooked up as follows. from the battery to heavy fuse/150amp circuit breaker, then to the cap, then to the fuse distribution block, then to the amps. Why would you want to hook it up to the radio wire? The purpose of the cap is to store energy so when the amps pull a shitload of current they get what they need.

i was going to hook it to the wire the radio gets power from so i wouldnt have to run it to the battery.

you are going to blow up your car. Caps are like lightning in a bottle. And turbo according to the info on caps you are not supost to have a fuse between the cap and amp.

ill just run it to the battery and quit being lazy. Ive never used a cap before so its new to me

you can run fuses, sometimes you have to, I''ve know people to do it. If you have some good amps with good built in fuses the you'll be fine with just a circuit breaker before the cap. my setup was battery to 150amp circuit breaker to cap to amps. But I had soundstream reference amps(the pretty chrome ones) so I did'nt need any extra fuses.
