This sure is a long second.

hahahaha sorry guys i was on vacation im back ya its just a pic of a drft front bumper, nothing special, im still trying to choose between the drft kit and the feed kit though. The front bumper looks pretty aerodynamic if you ask me, and the front canards included can only help it that much more, but what do you guys think ? feed or drft for most aero dynamic

FIGHT lol sorry old school mortal combat

Leetheslacker 02-13-2004 10:00 PM

drft = FUGLY.

Feed = win.

And feed and drft both have canards as an option.

BlueDragon871 02-14-2004 02:36 PM

alright any more opinions on the 2 ? i think they both look very aerodynamic to me but i guess i wont know till i buy one or the other

GarageBoy 02-14-2004 09:17 PM

DRFT is better looking than the regular CWest. I wish they published #s like Mazdaspeed does

Based upon?

Sinful7 02-15-2004 04:14 PM

Based upon frontal area.. I think the feed looks like it *may* have less frontal area than the Drft kit, which would result in a lower cD, higher topend..

BlueDragon871 02-15-2004 04:30 PM

alright thanks alot guys, i kno feed front bumper, now i just ahve to choose side skirts and a rear wing any more suggetions or any requests for pics of the drft or feed side skirts ?

Sinful7 02-15-2004 10:47 PM

So I take it topend is your ultimate goal? If so, a wing like the 95-97 (I think) OEM one would be your best bet, OR an adjustable CF wing that you can lay out almost flat.

BlueDragon871 02-16-2004 06:01 PM

how about the feed rear wing?

BlueDragon871 02-16-2004 06:05 PM

im thinkin about an re amemiya rear diffuser and feed side skirts so in the end im thinkin this

feed front end with 1 set of front canards

feed side skirts

re amemiya rear diffuser

feed rear wing with cf center

i will order all this stuff from chuck, so any last remarks on most aero kits, or is the feed kit the undisputed winner

no mazda speed suggestions at all? is feed that good

GarageBoy 02-16-2004 06:53 PM

mazdaspeeds rear diffuser is listed somewhere on their page along with a few change in downforce and coefficient of drag values

Sinful7 02-16-2004 07:44 PM

The only problem with the feed skirts is they dont do a whole lot about keeping the air that comes around the side of the nose out from under the car. They do, however, help keep the air under the car from escaping upward.

Also, upon further examination from the RE Amemiya diffuser, I believe the center venturi design would significantly increase rear downforce.

For what you're looking to do, the setup you have listed should be sufficient.

thanks sinful and everyone that has helped me
