i just got my driver side 99 spec lights from jt imports..... and i wanna put the lights in as soon as possible. the body shop that lost the lights offered to put it in the car.....but i wanna keep my car as far away from them as possible cuz i dont want it to take a month to install lights.....
does anyone know which wires to splice to install ....... cuz im stupid and forgot to get an adapter https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png thanks |
from the car, connect the black wire to one wire from both of the lights. connect the green wire from the car to the other wire on the white light. connect the red wire to the remaining wire on the amber light.
i would cut the plug off your old lights and wire that up so you can still unplug the lights if needed |
thanks.... but i have prongs behind the lights.... so i guess ill just attatch to prongs not wires https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
you're a big help though |
wait i got it backwards. red is the parking light and green is the signal
|
got it!!
|
ok as i was installing the lights...... i didnt notice that 2 prong connectors were slightly touching.... and a lil spark .... and dash, and all lights that turn on with the parking lights dont work now :(
|

Are the adapters no longer available from rotary extreme, or do you just not feel like waiting?
I was thinking about these adapters due to the fact I will be needing them down the road here soon. |
you dont need adapters..... its very easy to just splice and solder
